Happiest Moment

I have not been lazy, just that my routine has sort of changed and by the time I am home, I am too tired to write one. Earlier, rushed to home by 5,but now, I am home by 7-8ish.By the time I decide to start writing its very late and am very sleepy! like right now, i can barely keep my eyes open!! I am making an sincere effort to get back to writing everyday.I'll keep this one short. The other day while we were chatting( totally love his company) he suddenly popped this question "what was the happiest moment your life ? ", read 'happiest'. This got me thinking 'happiest' , how can I pick one moment, I have been living on this earth for like, now there, I am not publishing my age LOL! quite some years, how on earth can I have just 'one'? there are so many that I rem'm , each one, back then, was the happiest moment, until the other one came along and became my most happiest moment. This is how I see it, we all have a wish list, and when, fro
Six Days and Seven Nights.Totally loving it! The post will just have to wait for tomorrow.

English, will, hardwork!

I want to write, but then its one of those days when I just cant put my mind to it.There are so many things that are running thro' but when I try to pen them down,I loose the thought. Off late, I haven't been reading much either, and this includes newspaper too. I scramble thro' the front page, and skip all that is in between and finally only read the editorial section. Then I grab Bangalore mirror( its truly not worth it!) and within 10 mins I am done! That's about how much I have been reading for past month or so. If I gotta improve on my language(honestly, I think I got so much to improve on, from the selection of words, to phrases to proverbs!) I have to read more, converse more,I soo switch to hindi with every other person! Of course, my hindi is not bad at all, but then it isn't great either. I want to have this one conversation where I keep the other person wondering, rather then being the one, who has to look up dictionary (online or otherwise). Saurabh helped

The story of my Car & my experience with Bus

I have been traveling in the bus for a week now( This is a big thing for me, read on). Well, last week when Saurabh was around, we sort of met with an accident, the good thing is no one was hurt except our car(tears, it was sad sight!).Things happen, sometimes you just don't have control over them, though for the first 10 mins we kinda blamed each other(we were sad! specially him)once we dropped it at the garage, both of us were quite ok with it( he was, I just followed him he he), I don't know if all couples do that, but we didn't really spoil our evening after all :).Honestly, It's really difficult to with calm and composed in a situation like this, but then when you have someone who goes like "hota hai yaar, it's just a car, we'll get it all done. Lets not worry about that, lets enjoy our day". , you just cant be angry! I am really trying to get this attitude change in me ( I have sort of have, but I gotta a long way to go to reach where he is tod

I am back

I am back! My dearest friend Anvita gave me an ingenious idea(love her, totally!), cltr-c, cltr-v he he he. With no car( a very long and sad story), the idea of going in a bus(rick is a pain, all the haggling and then literally begging them to take you,bus totally works!) getting down at staples and buying a new keyboard seemed like a pain. But then, as I was crying out loud, she tells me "Tumhara blog paada, tum kahin se copy aur paste kyun nahi kaarti ho " Duh!! so much for working it IT industry, absolutely no one came up with this idea, but someone who works as a imaging artist. LOL! There is sooo much that has happened in these last few days, get ready, I am soo in a mood to write he he he.

:(

I cant write! I cant blog!! I dropped water and now one of the letter refuses to work. It's the letter that completes the "how are *ou?" or "What are *ou doing? Get it? I think I jinxed it for me! So long folks, I'll have to work something up, else I am soo gonna go craz* with no writing, no blogging, life is going to be ver* dull(buckets of tears!) tata.

Shopping

Women love shopping.Try as hard as we may, the temptation is soo stong, that we are pulled right back to it.It's something, we just cannot see ourselves, not doing LOL!For us, Shopping is pretty much like our best friend, we can trust it to give us company, keep us occupied for hours together, keep us happy and pep us up when we are sad , just that, we gotta spend tiny miny(Ok, sometime a li'll more than tiny miny)of money(but it's totally worth it!) I don't go over board with stuff, but then there are earrings, perfumes and watches that I just cant resist! At the end of the day, if we look pretty, then every penny spent is worth it ( I soo know most of you guys would like to voice your opinion about this, LOL!!) I bought myself a beautiful pair of silver earrings for a whopping amount of 1200rs he he he(these are the same one's in the photo, "stolen hairband"), and I coaxed Divya into buying one for 1400rs. There is this thing about him, he never stops me f

The Stolen Hairband

Image
Presenting to you the stolen hair band, please note, while i got the loot, there are those who were more than thrilled. They admonished me for stealing it from her , but that didn't stop them from wearing it and almost trying to steal it from me LOL!

2 days with family :)

Image
Family minus mom were here with me. Adhivika was here for the weekend.I stole her hair band LOL! Hey, my SIL so thought I could have it,but this li'll 2 year old niece of mine, every time I wore it, she would go 'Adhika hairband' and point her finger to her head. I had to give it back to her, then she would wear it for like 2 mins and throw it away he he he. This drama continued till evening, and just before she was to leave for Belgaum, I kept it on the fridge!. She is one smart girl, even while she was being carried out, she had the look, 'Where is my hair band, Anusha is not wearing it,but I cant find it it either' look he he he, finally after they left I had the hair band all to myself LOL!! Oh man, I soo stole my niece's hairband OMG. Aditya keeps coming down regularly for client meets, but Rashmi and Adhvika were here after good 9 months. That li'll one has grown into one naughty girl he he he (just like dad and her aunt). She is a darling, miss her a

I am taking it well?

Alright in 2 days, i have had two people tell me, you really have handled the distance well . I haven't been sad, brooding or crying about this for good some time now, guess its showing on me :) There are days, when ,I just miss not having him around. But, yes from what it was like 3 months ago, things have been better. For one, i have started looking beyond the distance. Two, I have been really trying to connect with lot of people, and there are those, the ones I have mentioned in so many posts, whose company is much fun that I loose track of time! Three, the self pitying me, doesn't pity herself anymore, I have never been this positive, energetic and vibrant! Four, I have been blogging, need I say anything about that now :)? Five, I am kinda enjoying the being single again LOL , like the other day someone( I bumped into like after ages!) tells me 'Girls, rarely get this chance, you are soo gonna have fun'. Six,I have gone back to shopping big time (Oh yeah, I soo totall

Looks Matter Or not?

Today someone asked me 'How important are looks?'. I knew why he asked me that(though he didn't say it out loud).I am not an expert with relationships or otherwise, I just know that, when you feel it in your heart, you know it's right, it's meant to be Looks matter! but you decide to what extent. It solely depends on you, are you in for a relationship or are you just in for fun.If it's fun, then always go for the pretty but not so smart one's, coz the smart ones will sniff it out of you and you could get in big trouble for that LOL! Coming back to the original thought, Here is what I believe and so totally sell to most of the young ones he he he The first time you meet someone, there is this physical attraction that draws you to this person, but looks cant hold this 'attraction' for longer than this one meeting, from there on its all depends on whether or not you guys click. If you do, trust me,all those flaws that you somehow seemed to have noticed t

Age matters?

When you are in school, your friends are limited to same age group, back then anyone who is even a year older becomes bhaiya or didi , and you soo totally respect them(or hate them for being one!).Then you get into college, and there, the older ones, are now your seniors. Slowly , you start interacting with people ,out of the obvious age group circle, you start looking for like minded people, though, even in college the bhaivya, didi tag kinda stays, not as strong as when we were kids, but the presence is still felt. And then when you enter your professional life, suddenly you are addressing everyone by their first names, be it someone is who just few years older or 40 years older than you (I speak for IT).There is no bhaiya, no didi, everyone is X or Y!( not as male or female he he he!!You know what I mean right? :)) In your wildest dreams, as kids or teenagers you never ever actually comprehend that someone older than you, can even come closer to being a friend! I met this someone in

A Month Long Affair

Rem'm the old post on Kite ? There is soo much that has happened since then! *It finally flew! Fly it did, high really high! It was such a beautiful sight, one I wont forget for a long long time to come! Oh, you have no idea, how excited I was on that day, after a month long effort, every day taking the kite on the terrace, trying all possible permutations and combinations, waiting for the wind to take it up, running from one corner to another, just trying to fly it! I wanted the kite to be up there! I just wasn't ready to run down(just few steps) and get the camera! Else I would've put the pics of my successful first ever kite flying *While flying, my neighbour Shubha (a Bengali stylish girl) joined us! She was as excited as me (she had seen me doing the flying thing for days together!). I let her fly the kite. Well the excitement didn't last for more than hour. It came down, i tried saving it, but it got stuck on a water tank few buildings away from ours. We tried, re

Damn C and X

This morning while working on QTP, i had a doubt.I opened our internal communicator, and double clicked on my male colleague's name, who, i knew would be able to help me and then I typed "Hi, Can you please come here for a Sex " That's right!! Can you believe it? DAMN the keyboard, Damn the headphones( I was listening to loud music!), bloody C and X that are placed next to each other (QWERTY Keyboard). I wanted to tear that ceiling and fly away to Calcutta!! I wanted to go hide behind Saurabh! He would soo protect me! Just run away for ever, erase that last one min! Of course, I immediately realized and then "SHIT!!!" "I meant *sec!" "I am sorry, that's typo!!" "OMG" He didn't respond! (Well, what was he supposed to type?), and then I called him on his extension and before I could say anything he said "I will be there" "I didn't.." "Don't worry , its ok, its alright!" That was soooo

Romance

This, is officially the most romantic season of the year. Mausam saath ho aur aankhoon mein pyaar ho,phir dekho kaise nahi paathi hai laadki. The weather is sooo beautiful, its that time of the year when you sooo miss having someone(if not already have one or like in my case is not with u!) to romance with.Hindi mein kahate hai na 'katilna mausum! Haye sirf woh saath hote tho maaza aa jata' Been watching romantic movies for two days now, damn HBO! It started with Sweet home Alabama and today the classic 'You complete me' jerry maguire Though, 'You complete me' is normally picked up as one of top 10 romantic lines, my personal favorite from this movie is 'You had me at Hello' , this one just floors you. You got a mail, now that movie has you glued from the first to the last scene. Sleepless at Seattle,Notting Hill they fall under sweet movies, not my kinda romantic movies. Most most of ladies like surprises, big or small doesn't matter, but the surpri

He is mine

"Can you have feelings for two people at the same time?" Aahana was surprised, a guy who was always so confident about every decision he took, was suddenly so helpless.Staring at sky ,running his fingers over and over his hair, Ankit looked like the little boy who had just lost his puppy. Aahana, his best buddy since sixth grade, had nodded her head in approval when he showed her the diamond ring for Megha. She and Ankit were soul mates, just not the lover kind. That's what he believed. Ankit was engaged to Megha. Megha, the girl he couldn't stop thinking about after their first date, the first one he introduced to his parents. After 6 months of courting, he went on his knee and proposed to her.She had made him want a better life. They were in no hurry to get married. It would be 2 weeks today, since he last saw her, Megha, was in shimla,a 4 month on job training on war journalism. He met her on April 18th, two days after Megha had left,at the annual fund raising day.Ni

Blog Maina

I seemed to have build an reputation for my blog quite well.I'll tell you what I mean by that. "Hey Anusha" and half an hour later, "I guess I have given you enough material to write some on your blog" and a wink "Ah! You see something interesting here that can be posted, don't you" wicked smile. "Post this on your blog, and send me the link once done" demanding tone. "I'll tell you this incident, you can publish it if you wish to" a smile. Of course, I enjoy this! They are all sweet(they gotta, after all they are talking about moi blog :)) Or the other day, when Sista Forum where chatting and I didn't respond for good 5 mins ,"Where is Anu, don't tell she is blogging about this!" Here is the icing on the cake.I, yes me, myself and not Irene, but Anusha, unconsciously am on a look out for posts. In the evenings, once I have changed into something comfortable,I go up with aunty on the terrace, and suddenly I
Met Liz by chance in cafeteria today,I was sitting with my colleagues, when I suddenly spotted her. Called out her name ,out loud, she stopped, turned, smiled, walked towards me and says "Congratulations, your rights have been approved of" , it didn't even take me a sec to realize, "Thanks gal, finally our struggle has been justified. We both can come out of our closets now" and we busted out laughing. (No offense to anyone, I believe in respecting people's sexual preferences, Totally a personal choice.). This was when the two of us, have never before discussed on this topic, I totally got what she meant, just like that! Think about it, the other two didn't get the joke,I hinted on today's newspaper front page article, and when that didn't work either, I explicit explained it to them and they go like "Oh. How are we to relate this to you!!" Duh!! and then one of them said, I guess you guys know each other well, how else on earth would

"BJN" fixation

"where are we headed this weekend?" Supriya asked. It had been a long time since the two of had been out, alone. "how about Copper Chimney? Haven't been there for a long time!!" Shekar was food lover, in true sense. There wasn't a single restaurant in city that he hadn't visited, no cuisine that he hadn't tried. Married to his childhood sweetheart,Shekar was looking forward to the weekend.Life had been busy for last four months. With relatives, friends, family pouring in to bless the newly wed. Home. Saturday, 7 pm. "Let's go, we have a movie to catch up after dinner" The thought of food was making him impatient, Chicken Briyani, that's what he was gonna order!. After maneuvering thro' traffic for good one hour, they finally reached their destination 3rd Floor, Bangalore Central, 8.15 pm Confirming their reservation, the manager led them to the table, perfect seating, a cozy table for two far away from crowd. Finally the part h

(That's what I learnt about Renu, *she has grown her hair really lon
