A Week Long Holiday
He came and he left. What's left are the memories. If only wishes could true, my week would never end :).
IIMC seems to have an effect on him, that has taken me by surprise. Change is inevitable, agreed!
*23rd: I drove down to Airport :), for a 2 month old driver, this sure is a good enough reason to celebrate. I was shocked to see him, he has like pulled down like anything and I suddenly felt like a pumpkin in front of him. You know the roundish goloish feeling!
* 24th: We went for a late evening party to The Beach-Indranagar. 3 rounds of tequilla and screaming for Royal Challengers, breaking into dance after every alertnate over and more drinks later we called it a night.
*25th: Started early for Belgaum, took us about 7hours (1.30 hrs to get out of B'lore, stops at CCD!). At home, we were treated to Ma's ever famous chicken briyani. We hit the sack.
*26th: After a sumptuous breakfast, Sirji decides its time to hit for Goa, this was the first time, we hadn't planned anything in advance, no hotel booking, just threw in few shorts and shirts and off we were to Goa.
How do I know all this? I got one too!! Story goes like this, after he decided on the design (Aries sun sign), I sat down , away from him on a small stool, refusing to leave him alone, fearing he would experience extreme pain, but scared enough to sit too close.Sitting at a distance, I didn't see him cringe with pain for most part of it, I was hoping that now would be the time when he says "Stop it, I can't take the pain" But that never happened, in fact he sat thro' and within mins it was over! That was quick!
Was he faking it? Na, he just didn't feel a thing. So like just 5 mins later, with a li'll coaxing from the Saurabh, I heard myself saying "Its now or never, what the hell. Let's try it". It was decided it would be done at the least painful place, leg!. I was fine, until I saw him put needle into that tatoo device or whatever. I held Saurabh's hand, just the way Rachel did when she went into Labour. I swear, I would have broken his bone, if I did squeeze anymore! Na, it didnt pain, but idea of getting it done was enough to send me into a frenzy and the sound was just adding to it. I didn't even realize and it was over. It took him just over 10 mins to complete mine, and all the while I didn't feel anything.

On our way to Goa
Drive was pleasant, took us about 3 hours to reach Baga beach. Zeroed in on Ronil's resort, just 2 mins walk from the beach, which fitted my idea of a clean nice "I dont mind staying here" resort. Hit the beach later in the evening,it was high tide, nonetheless we jumped in.The beach shacks suddenly transformed into this romantic retreat, with candle lights, light music and sea at your foot step it just cant get better.
Receptionist recommended Britoo's,a famous beach shack at baga beach. Hired a bike for 300rs for 2 days. We were not the married couple who ever out to enjoy a day @ Goa, but a girl and a guy, who are trying to have fun and still be with each other :) . The beaming crowd, and peppy music just reminds you of why people love Goa. By this time, Saurabh is suddenly getting serious about getting a permanent tattoo. I was successful in confusing/scaring him at least for this part of the evening.

*27: I wanted to try Para sailing. It was alright, they put up on a parachute and then up you go for a couple of seconds. We walk back to the shack and he has made up his mind. I am shit scared, I had tears even before that guy started the actual thing.
-Yes, its painful but not the kind where one faints off. In fact the only pain is felt when it the needle hits touches bone. It's the thought that scares one more than the actual thing.
-Yes, its safe. they use new gloves, needles, and stuff.Everything is taken out right in front of your eyes, and then you are asked to do the honor of tearing off the jacket, this satisfies you that it's indeed a clean one.
-The only painful part is one, when they do the outline.
