Its a new day

One day , just one day can take away everything you believed in. That one day may look like the worst but as it sinks in its that day that has helped you realize and appreciate the beauty, the beauty called Life. You are hurt and there is everything you'll do to stop that pain. You'll wish for the fear goes away. You stop believing in you, you are scared ,every move you make you check twice, every thought that crosses your mind, you say it aloud. You want to someone to help you lead, to help you decide the right from the wrong. Those who love you will always be there. You still cant stop it from happening. You cry. You want it all back. It ain't coming back. . Life has turned the page. Its a new chapter. Once the fear takes the hike, pain starts to fade away, and one day when you wake up, it wont hurt anymore. That day marks the beginning of  a new chapter in your life. Just dream away. They will still be there, smiling, just two steps behind.  The...

Regret

Experience is the most brutal of teachers. But you learn, my God do you learn. Has this world been so kind to you that you should leave with regret ? There are better things ahead than any we leave behind.   -C.S Lewis

Kyun ki Khoobsoorat hai baadna.

Of course it was the lyrics, simple heart warming!Aditi Sharma brings in that earthiness to it, she is good. She was good in Tanishq and here is adorable.

Do you like the smell of .....?

On our way to office today, while Vivek was swirling his car through the traffic and I was staring into nowhere, a conversation had started in the background  The love for weird smells... Pause. A little background Since Vivek has joined HP I have been taking these free rides to office. It started with OK I can take a break from driving once in a week to almost everyday (so far they haven't complained!!). And while I am almost a regular, there are times when Sakshi (sweet brat friend as Liz fondly refers to her as) joins in. You have to give it Vivek, 3 ladies and he still doesn't loose his cool! Continuing  with  The love for weird smells... I missed the initial bit which led them to petrol, they had been on it for couple of mins. "Aye Sakshi do you like the smell of petrol?" it almost sounded like she was talking about a  perfume!  "Oh I love it"  bang comes the reply in a subtle soft voice. "Liz I love the smell of paint, you?" continuin...

There never can be a man

"You can prove anything you want by coldly logical reason-,f you pick the proper postulates." "There never can be a man so lost as one who is lost in the vast and intricate corridors of his own lonely mind, where none may reach and none may save." "Never let your sense of morals get in the way of doing what's right."                                                                                                         -Issac Asimov

Sacredness in tears

Washington Irving once said....                     There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love.

Sometimes we're so focused on

"Sometimes we're so focused on finding our happy ending we don't learn how to read the signs. How to tell from the ones who want us and the ones who don't, the ones who will stay and the ones who will leave. And maybe a happy ending doesn't include a guy, maybe... it's you, on your own, picking up the pieces and starting over, freeing yourself up for something better in the future. Maybe the happy ending is... just... moving on. Or maybe the happy ending is this, knowing after all the unreturned phone calls, broken-hearts, through the blunders and misread signals, through all the pain and embarrassment you never gave up hope.."                                                                           ...

Look, I guarantee....

“ Look, I guarantee there’ll be though times. I guarantee that at some time, one or both of us is gonna want to get out of this thing. But I also guarantee that if I don’t ask you to be mine, I’ll regret it for the rest of my life, because I know, in my heart, you’re the only one for me…..” -Runaway Bride
